Windows Revival

I knew this day would come. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on my MacBook Pro 13' 2.8 Ghz, 750 gig HD, 8 gig RAM hotrod via Bootcamp. Why? Because the absolute best DAW in the world doesn't run on OSX. FL Studio has me under its spell and I will never break free.

Introduction

This is my first official blog. I've decided to name this blog "The DAW Chronicles" because of my many successful and unsuccessful forays into the world of recording audio with many different kinds of software. I want to voice my and other peoples frustrations and satisfaction with the many different Digital Audio Workstations out there. I've used them all at some point and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. They have taken up a huge chunk of my life over the past 6 or 7 years. Maybe in my comments someone can learn a few things or just share in my frustration. Here are the current DAWs I am using at the moment:

Ableton Live 8

FL Studio 8

Logic Pro 8

Pro Tools LE 7.4

Garageband 09

Audiomulch

The two I have never used:

Nuendo

Cubase
